Jim Valvano Speech Reynolds Coliseum
On February 21, 1993, NC State honored the 1983 NCAA Championship basketball team in Reynolds Coliseum. Their coach Jim Valvano was working the game for ABC and gave this speech before a standing room only crowd. This speech precluded his famous ESPY speech. He died of cancer on April 28, 1993 .Don't give up, don't ever give up. www.jimmyv.orgPeople have asked me where I got this footage from, I sat in the upper half of Reynolds Coliseum with my own camera and taped the speech never thinking that anyone but close friends would ever see it.
