Birgit Brenner lives and works in Berlin. She studied at Graphik-Design, Darmstadt, and Hochschule der Künste (HdK), and on a 'Rebecca Horn' scholarship.She is now represented by Eigen+Art in Berlin. Recent solo shows include 'Arario', Chungcheongnam, Korea 2006, 'Verein für Junge Kunst', Wolfsburg 2005, 'Roman in großer Schrift', Virtuell-Visuell e.V., Dorsten ,'Die besten Jahre', Galerie EIGEN + ART, Leipzig 2003, Stadthaus Ulm (C) Galerie EIGEN+ART, Berlin, German, 2001, Galerie EIGEN+ART, Leipzig, Germany, and numerous other solo and group shows in Germany and internationally.
